Message	and contact him direct. You can file for a salvage title if all else fails but that would make a resale a little more challenging. Also, check google.com for auto title research companies that will do the leg work for you. I do not know Florida rules, but in GA, I can file for salvage title, get the car inspected and receive a salvage title in about 6 to 8 weeks. I saw an ad for a title search firm on craigslist.com, if I see it again I'll email the ad to you. I troll for broke down Z's using google to narrow down cars on craigslist. >
